Word of Life Worship

Where Music Meets Mission

Worship at Word of Life is more than a Sunday morning set list. It is how we gather, respond, and declare who God is together. If you have a gift, whether that is singing, playing, running sound, or serving behind a camera, there is a place for you here.

What drives us: We spend more time preparing our hearts than perfecting our parts. The goal is always Jesus, not the performance.

More Than Music

Worship Is a Declaration, Not Just a Song

Every Sunday, the worship team shows up to create space, not a show. Space for people to encounter God, exhale the week, and be reminded of what is true.

01

Heart Before Skill

We look for people who love Jesus first. Talent matters, but humility and a servant's heart will take you further on this team than raw ability ever will.

02

Prepared, Not Perfect

We rehearse so Sunday morning is not the first time we are figuring things out. Good preparation keeps the focus on worship, not logistics.

03

Everyone Has a Role

The person running slides matters as much as the person holding the mic. Every role, seen or unseen, makes it possible for the church to worship freely.

Find Your Spot

The worship ministry has more moving parts than most people realize. Here are three of the main areas where we are always looking for committed, faithful people.

Worship vocalist at Word of Life Church
Vocal Team

Sing it out.

Whether you want to lead from the front or blend in as a background vocalist, the vocal team needs people who can carry a melody and carry the congregation with them.

Band

Play with purpose.

Guitar, keys, drums, bass. Every instrument adds to the sound that helps our church sing louder and worship deeper on Sunday mornings.

Audio console for worship production at Word of Life Church
Production

Serve behind the scenes.

Sound, slides, cameras, lighting, and livestream. If you love technology and want that skill to serve the church, this is where you belong.
